Shapes of Land paper book
The paper book version of Shapes of Land is a reproduction of the original
one-of-a-kind fabric book of the same name. The original edition materials include:
cotton buckram, silk thread, natural dyes, machine-stitching, hand-embroidery, and
collage. The paper book is: 8.5"x 12" with an accordion fold binding, and has a hardcover with foil stamp. The pages are digitally printed on both front and back in full color. It was exhibited in the 2024 Oregon Contemporary Artists’ Biennial ablaze with our care, its ongoing song, curated by Jackie Im and Anuradha Vikram.at Oregon Contemporary.
The paper version was printed in an edition of fifty by Gary Robbins at Container Corp. for distribution at a public soundscape event at the Albina Green in North Portland on July 7th, 2024.
